If you are having trouble viewing an NDV:
- Please contact your local DigiStream® representative with:
- The specific NDV link(s) you are trying to view
- If possible, a screenshot of the error or webpage
- If possible, the type of internet browser and version you are using. This is found under the “Help” menu in “About” (for example, Internet Explorer version 11)
*Please note that the more information you provide, the more fully we can troubleshoot.
- Depending on the issue you encounter, we may provide an updated link with the video in Windows Media format.
- Contact your local IT department if applicable to see if there are any media restrictions placed on your company network, and if “digistream.com” could be added as a secure exception. Since we are outside of your company network, we cannot troubleshoot as directly with you as an in-house technician could due to our restricted access.
- If the updated link or another recommendation does not solve the issue, please contact your company IT department and request that they coordinate a meeting with our IT specialists. Our IT department can be contacted by emailing ticket@digistream.com and we recommend that you CC your local DigiStream® representative so that they can follow along with the process.
NDVs are compatible with:
- Internet Explorer – version 9 or higher
- Firefox – version 35 or higher
- Chrome – version 4 or higher
- Edge – version 12 or higher
- Opera – version 25 or higher
- Safari* – version 3.2 or higher
*Please note that Mac computers and programs are only compatible with the MP4 version of the NDV.
All NDVs are originally created in the video format MP4. This is a format for video used on media sites like YouTube and Vimeo. It does not require a plug-in to view when using contemporary internet browsers. MP4 can play on both PC and Mac. However, many companies have outdated internet browsers, older computers, and slow internet connections. As NDVs are a premier and unique service that DigiStream® Investigations offers, we will do our utmost to work with you in resolving any issues with our website and video player.
